Will the Rain Ever End?

I love the rain. Okay, that's not entirely true. I love puddles. And I even love drizzle. I do not like 4-day long downpours - that interferes with my ability to play outside. In the middle of such a downpour, when there is a brief break in the weather, I try to cram four days worth of outdoor playing into 10 minutes. I was mildly sucessful at best.

Happy Birthday to Me!!

As you may or may not have remembered, I had a birthday recently, which went something like this.

You: "Happy Birthday, Ari."

Me: "Cake? Presents? Ari eat cake??"

You: "How old are you?"

Me: "Ari almost two. Eat cake?"

You: "Um, I think you ARE two now."

Me: "Ari almost two. Happy Birthday, Ari. Eat cake? Eat cake now? More?"

You: "Whatever. Just go eat your cake."

Me: "Mmmmm. Ari like cake."

Anyway, I had a blast. Though I may not understand that I AM two now, I do understand that the birthday party I had was in MY honor and I do understand that I got presents and I TOTALLY understand cake.

Fun with Grammie and BaPa

I had a nice visit with my Grammie and BaPa - we colored together and I woke BaPa up when he fell asleep on the couch. Then we played on my swing, which is always my favorite thing to do.
